Psalm 92:1-5
"A psalm. A song to be sung on the Sabbath Day. It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,  accompanied by the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre. You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. O LORD, what great works you do."

I believe that these verses adequately express our thoughts right now.  Nothing but praise to the most high for blessing us with our 6th child today.  We are now the parents of three handsome boys and three beautiful girls.

I can hardly explain how it feels to finally have SongYan in our family.  It was very awkward at first, because we met in the hotel corridor soon after getting off of the elevator.  We were then supposed to go into a room, but could not find one that was satisfactory for the guide.  We finally settled on one that had chairs being assembled on the floor.  We all pitched in to move the chairs along the wall.  Then we were standing next to the director and his wife and SongYan, but couldn't communicate because our guide was occupied for a few minutes.  Next, they asked us to pose for a photo for the adoption certificate.  It was chaos, but in a funny way.  SongYan warmed up to the girls first.  She was very hesitant with us.  We were totally prepared for that, so we were not disappointed.
After we signed temporary guardianship papers, we completed preliminary papers for the adoption decree for tomorrow.  While we were completing the paperwork, the girls played with SongYan and braided hair. We came up to our room and our guide Penny help explain what was hers, and that she needed to try on her clothes today to see what fits and what didn't fit.  Believe it or not some of them were too small.  But many fit and I think we will be okay for our trip.  She also came with some clothes. We then went to lunch and SongYan told us she wanted to take a nap after we ate. (With gestures--not English).

When we returned home we skyped with Austin and Jordan and we started the bonding then.  She actually sat next me and we laughed together as we tried to talked to the boys. She is taking a nap right now.  I'm sure today has been overwhelming to her also.

I wish you could see Zach and Ben right now.  Hannah and Leighanne have put headbands  on their heads with all kinds of flowers and bows.  Very pretty guys!  No cameras were allowed. If you have noticed, SongYin wants to be called SongYan (pronounced SonYin, long Song without the g) for now.  We are totally glad with that.  We are still working on the correct pronunciation.

So for now I will say goodbye--please don't forget to let me know how you praised God in your worship service.  Many hugs!  Oh Yeah--to our church family, could you please give our boys some hugs from their Mom.  I sure wish I could do that now.  I sure miss them.

Service was emotional for me today thinking of the passed and praying for the future. You have a beautiful family Julie. Austin and Jordan came to dinner last night and watched some football.
